Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications :

For Finance Officer :

Essential Qualification :

    • Master Degree with Commerce or Business Administration (Finance) with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in UGC seven point scale or Comparable equivalent degree in relevant area.
    • At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor with 08 years in Associate Professor in AGP Rs. 9000/- along with experience in educational administration. OR
    • Comparable experience in Research Establishment and/or other Institutions of higher education. OR
    • 15 years of administrative experience of which 08 years as Deputy Registrar in Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- or above or an equivalent post with experience in Finance and Accounts. OR
    • A qualified CA or ICWA/SAS with atleast 15 years of working experience in the relevant fixed of activities.

Desirable Qualification :

    • Working experience of Budgeting & Financial Accounting etc. in Autonomous bodies/University will be preferred.
    • Good working knowledge of rules & regulations of Central Universities, R&D institutions relating to accounts/audit, service conditions and related financial matters.

For Deputy Registrar :

Essential Qualification :

      • Master Degree with atleast 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale.
      • Atleast 5 years of experience as Assistant Professor in a college or a University having AGP of Rs. 6000/- with experience in educational administration. OR
      • Comparable experience in research establishments and/or other Institutions of higher education.OR
      • Atleast 5 year of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.

Desirable Qualification :

      • Candidates having administrative, establishment and financial experience with knowledge of computer operation will be preferred.

For Internal Audit Officer :

Essential Qualification :

      • Officer holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5 years regular service in the scale of (Rs. 15600 – 39100 + GP 6600) from the Central/State Government, Universities and other autonomous organizations.
      • Drawing and Disbursing Officers belonging to the Audit & Accounts Service of other similar services.

General Instructions And Essential Information :

1. Applicants must apply on prescribed form available on website. Applications received in any other form than prescribed form will be rejected.
2. The envelope should be super-scribed as “Application for the post of Registrar/Finance Officer”.
3. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. The University reserves its right to limit of the total number of candidates to be called for interview.
4. Stringent criteria may be applied for short-listing the candidates to be called for interview.
5. The University reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post at any time without assigning any reason. The right is also reserved with the University either to fill or not to fill the post and its decision in this regard shall be final.
6. Relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) will be provided at the Master’s level in the case of SC/ST/Physically handicapped candidates.
7. Application should be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft Rs. 500/- or Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, drawn at State Bank of India, Branch-Amarkantak.
8. The application duly filled in the prescribed form must reach the office on or before 05th Nov. 2012 at the below given address. Applications received after this date shall not be included in the selection process.

9. Separate application along with application fee should be submitted for each post applied for.
10. Persons serving in Central/State Government/Autonomous Bodies may be taken on deputation for period of 05 years of Registrar/Finance officer or up to the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier. The service conditions including pay scales
are as per UGC norms/Govt. of India.
11. Applicants serving in Government/ Semi-Government organizations /Public Sector Undertakings /Autonomous Bodies must send their applications “Through Proper Channel”. The applications received without the recommendations of the employers will not be considered. However, an advance copy of application may be sent followed by the original application through proper channel.
12. The age of superannuation for all the post shall be as per UGC norms.
13. Candidates shall have to produce original documents at the time of appearing in Interview with a passport size photograph and a set of Xerox copy of certificates.
14. Canvassing in any form may lead to cancellation of candidature.
15. Incomplete applications or without relevant supporting enclosures (self attested copies of degree/certificates/marks sheets/experience certificate, etc.) will be outrightly rejected.
