SURGUJA KSHETRIYA GRAMIN BANKSURGUJA KSHETRIYA GRAMIN BANK invites applications from Indian citizens, for the
post of Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale III), Officer in Middle Management
Grade (Scale II), Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant
(Multipurpose) from Indian citizens who have appeared at the Common Written
Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

Name And Number Of Vacancies :

  • Middle Management Grade (Scale III)- 01 Post
  • General Banking Officer (Scale II) – 03 Posts
  • Junior Management Grade (Scale I) – 16 Posts
  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – 40 Posts

NOTE : The number of vacancies as also the number of reserved vacancies is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.

Pay Scale :

  • For Scale I : Rs 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700
  • For Scale II : Rs 19400-700/1-20100-800/10- 28100
  • For Scale III : Rs 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700
  • For Office-Assistant (Clerk-cum-Cashier) ; Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300

Emoluments:

  • Scale-III Officer: At present the total starting emoluments are approx. Rs 47994/- per month inclusive of DA and HRA at the current rate
  • Scale-II Officer: At present the total starting emoluments are approx. Rs 36229/- per month inclusive of DA and HRA at the current rate.
  • Scale-I Officer: At present the total starting emoluments are approx. Rs 27028 /- per month inclusive of DA and HRA at the current rate.
  • Office-Assistant (Clerk-cum-Cashier): At present the total starting emoluments are approx. Rs 15205/- per month inclusive of DA and HRA at the current rate.

Eligibility Criteria :

A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Group Discussion/ Interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him/her.

Educational Qualification & Experience (as on 01-06-2012) :

For Officer Scale- I :
Educational Qualification : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and Proficiency in local language

For Officer Scale- II :
Educational Qualification : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Experience : Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

For Officer Scale- III :
Educational Qualification : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
Experience : Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions

For Office Assistant :
Educational Qualification : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
Essential: Proficiency in local language

Note:
I. 1. All educational qualifications should be from a recognised university/ Board
2. The result of the qualifying examination, i.e. Graduation or equivalent to graduation, as the case may be, should have been announced by the University on or before 01.06.2012.
3. Candidates should have obtained the specified Total Weighted Standard Score as well as score in each test in the RRBs- Common Written Examination conducted in September 2012.
II. For Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) Language Proficiency
* – Candidates are required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT in which RRB is located and must have passed “local language i.e. Hindi” as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard

Age Limit (As on 01.06.2012):

  • For Officer Scale- I Above 18 years – Below 28 years
  • For Officer Scale- II Above 21 years – Below 32 years
  • For Officer Scale- III Below 40 years.
  • For Office Assistant Between 18 years and 28 years
